Briefly...

Christine’s stage career includes the original cast of the ground-breaking ZOOT SUIT (Mark Taper Forum, Los Angeles).  Also at the Mark Taper Forum, she understudied Chita Rivera in the lead role of THE HOUSE OF BERNARDA ALBA.  She was in the original cast of South Coast Rep’s LA POSADA MAJICA, and originated the role of “Spider Woman” in Murray Mednick’s revolutionary COYOTE CYCLE presented by Padua Hills Playwrights Festival in Los Angeles, New Mexico and the former Jugoslavia.  Among her favorite roles are “Antonio” opposite Lisa Wolpe’s “Shylock” in the LA Women’s Shakespeare Company’s award-winning MERCHANT OF VENICE, “Cassandra” in Steven Berkhoff’s AGAMEMNON (Los Angeles Olympics Arts Festival), “Hermione” in A WINTER’S TALE, “Suzanne” in FIGARO GETS A DIVORCE (La Jolla Playhouse) , “Lola” in Jon Rivera’s production of DOGEATERS and the title role in HORTENSIA AND THE DREAM MUSEUM, at Casa 0101.  Other regional theater credits include San Jose Rep, La Jolla Playhouse, Colorado Springs Shakespeare, Pasadena Shakespeare Company, Bilingual Foundation for the Arts and JUFEST!, which toured the former Jugoslavia.  She is also an eight-time invited participant in the Sundance Playwrights Festival.  Her many film and television credits are listed in detail on her Internet Movie Database page.
